Simple & Quick Cards

Places like Joann's, Target, & dollar tree have dollar sections you can get nice cards for a dollar. I often purchase these and add verse or greeting or a stamped picture to them. Sometimes another embellishment or stickers. Pictures are bit blurry- I am working on that.

Have you ever made something - And you weren't happy how it turned out, but no more time? This is a glove compartment organizer, for my son's 23rd birthday.

It's been awhile since I posted. I am working on simplifying my home, I would rather sew and craft then clean all the time plus having fibromyalgia and being slower than I used to be- I need simple routines. For Christmas I didn't make as many things as I would have liked. I did make this tote for my dd.

I am behind on posting- this is a purse I found at the resale. The green one is the one I made. The material was difficult to sew as it was so stiff. I kept breaking needles.

These are called Raggedy Roses- made of Chiffon. This is a cuff bracelet.

Do you always have to start from scratch?

I am working on an e-book about using things you find, get in the mail, etc. on your cards. This one is a purchased note card and I add to it. Michaels, Dollar Tree, and other places like that are good sources for note cards. Target also has neat cards in their dollar section. You can beat 6-8 cards with envelopes for a dollar. I use these a lot if I am in a hurry. Sometimes I am not I just like the paper for backgrounds.
